Engineer the Support Wall
Calculate the "Wet Weight"
"Wet Weight" is the total load of your racking system *plus* all the wine bottles. You must ensure your wall can support this.
Example: 100 Bottles require ~300 LBS of support.
Essential Structural Requirement
Mounting pegs directly into drywall is unsafe. A minimum 3/4-inch plywood backer board installed between the studs is critical for a secure, long-lasting display.
